TUGGSTARTuggstar is a motivational poet and coach that is passionate about telling poetical stories and inspiring other to achieve their goals. As a highly respected spoken word artist, over the years he has pushed back the boundaries of the exciting genre of poetry.
He has a self published poetry book entitled ‘’The Way of the Word’. And released his debut CD in 2004 entitled ‘The Africa E.P: From Here to There and Home Again’ In 2008 he released his sophomore CD ‘’Season of Lost Love’. Early on in his career he gained a distinguished reputation in competitive poetry. In August ’03 he was the only representative in Toronto’s first International Poetry Competition, (where he competed against 37 other poets to reach the finals.) In September ’03 he won the US vs UK grand final of “Lyrical Court” defeating a talented array of U.K and U.S poets. Tuggstar prides himself in representing a movement; in February 2005 he became the first national columnist to spoken word, hosting the ground breaking New Word Order in New Nation newspaper. His efforts have earned him international media attention. He has been featured in the BBC 4’s Bespoken Word, TIME OUT magazine, interviewed on Britain’s Radio One and Choice FM, performed for ex president of Ghana, and appeared on numerous other community and internet radio stations. His diverse experience makes him a sought after workshop exponent. He has been trained by Bob Proctor’s, Life Success as a life coach and by LA gang mediator Twilight Bey. He conducts mastermind groups for entrepreneurs, business men and women, and people seeking to find inspiration to achieve their goals. Today as well as still pursuing poetry, Tuggstar conducts engaging inspirational and motivational workshops, as his focus is to use his skills to inspire more people to achieve their goals.

She is a certified arts educator and has been published in Descant Magazine and anthologized in The Great Black North: Contemporary African Canadian Poetry. WINSTON FARRELLWinston Farrell holds a Master in Theatre and Development Studies from the University of Leeds. As a poet Farrell has toured extensively and has benefited from a number of Artist/Writer in residence programmes He has also released recordings of his rhythm/dub Poetry – ‘Lion on the Loose’ and ‘Earth Spirit’, Red Ribbons, and his latest release, ‘I am standing up’, is featured on James Lovell’s album. His published collections include, ‘Busting the Blues’, and ‘Call of the Quarter Master’. He is the winner of the Prime Minister’s Award for poetry as well as a third and first place recipient of

YASUS AFARIJAMAICA , CARIBBEAN
Jamaican-born reggae artist and dub poet Yasus Afari’s signature poetic event, Poetry in Motion, celebrated its 10th anniversary in February 2013, as the annual rendition of Jamaica’s rich poetic heritage that showcases leading poets and entertainers. In August 2011, he established the Jamaica Poetry Festival in Kingston. Afari’s first anthology EyePen continues to be exceptionally well received, and his poetry album Kiss Mi Neck has created waves, as he continues to delight audiences at home and abroad.
